Jesus is unique.

Dear Reader,
Even if you don't comment you must be  out there somewhere, because the viewing has reached over 7000 now. It isn't much in comparing with other blogs I know, but whoever comes back and finds some meaning in the posts; maybe comfort and even a way to faith is a blessing. You are precious in the eyes of God dear Reader.

Today I want to share context from an article in  a Christian newspaper  that  caught my attention the other day.
The headline was "Jesus is unique". The author is referring to the story of the Transfiguration  in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark and Luke. In Mark 9 it says:

"After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.
Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)
Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”
Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus."

Apostle Peter writes about this in the book of 1 Peter and describes himself as
"an eyewitness of the majesty of Jesus".
The Transfiguration was a milestone in the life of Jesus. After this event the focus of the Gospels turned to the road of the cross.
It is within Christian faith to believe that Jesus in himself is both God and man  at the same time.
At a time when many, both inside and outside the church, try to downplay Jesus' unique position, it  is all the  more important to emphasize the Biblical Testimony that
Jesus Christ is  King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev. 19:16)

Over and over  again I have said here that Jesus is the only way to the Father in Heaven; the only way to salvation and forgiveness of Sin; the only Savior there is or has ever been that can atone for us and save us from eternal separation from God. And above all the decision to turn around and follow Jesus is in this life and not after death. Then it is to late.
Lately a passage from the book of Revelation comes back to me again and again and mostly because of the people I see around me and wonder about on a daily basis.

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”
Revelation 22:10-12 (in Context) Revelation 22 (Whole Chapter)

There are "wrong-doers" and "right-doers" and "Holy-doers in this world but ALL need Jesus.
ALL need his cleansing blood from Golgotha.
ALL are included in God's plan of salvation; you just have to say "Yes" to Jesus.
I don't know your circumstances; only God does; but he has the best solution ever to your specific situation so let him save, heal and restore you as the person God intended you to be.
