A note from Ida.

Dear reader,

As you know, if you have visited my Blog during the years, I seldom write something personal here any more. The messages in the videos will speak for themselves.

However something strange has happened lately so I want to make a personal reflection.

Since I started this Blog I have had very few visitors, mainly people I know. Although during the Covid pandemic the numbers increased for a short time. From the start I limited my Blog from showing up on platforms like Google etc. and if anyone found my Blog I thought it would be the will of God for that person at that special time. If somebody would find the salvation and comfort through our Lord Jesus Christ through this Blog, it would be the utmost joy and reward for me to keep it going.

Over the years the average number of visitors to the Blog has been around 100 to 300 visits per months. Sometimes far less.

And now to the strange thing that has happened.

Last month there was 246 visitors and this month, during July 3457 so far. Blogger statistics says that most of those views are from Singapore. The rest this month are from USA, Sweden, Netherlands, India, Uzbekistan and others (and I don’t understand why those countries are not named).

It would be fantastic that my blog suddenly got so many visits, if it weren't for an email
from Blogger. They have reviewed the blog's content “and found material that doesn't
comply with blogger's policy”.
In all the years, since the start in 2010, my blog has never been checked or had any remarks.
Once in all these years I discovered that one visitor from Russia was using my blog address
to advertise things I didn’t want anything to do with and I blocked that visitor.

My computer skills are limited, so I'm afraid I can't check if anyone is guilty of the same
"doings" again.
However, I fear that someone is using my blog to forward material that I have nothing to
do with and do not want to be associated with. Blogger has remarked on a post from years
ago and I have deleted it. The post was a sermon, and nothing looked different but
somehow it had changed in the eyes of Blogger.

An anonymous and inconspicuous blog can be a good place for unscrupulous individuals
to send unacceptable material via the address of the blog.
That's is my fear, but if somebody here can explain what has happened,
I would be grateful for an explanation.

However if suddenly one person, or more, from Singapore has found comfort and help
in my posts; it would be a blessing to me and I sincerely hope it is so. But I am in doubt
unless somebody tells me the opposite.

If there are more complaints from Blogger, this blog will be deleted and taken from
the Internet. I guess that would be a partial victory for the evil one because we know
that his goal is to prevent the word of God being preached in “real life” as well as
here on the Net.

Finally, I end on a more positive note by wishing you
God's rich blessing and protection wherever you are.
That's what matters the most in this damaged world.

Sincerely yours
Ida
