Colin Urquhart – Sommerbibelschule 18.07.2017 God has loved you. Jesus has died for you.

" God is almighty, but even God can´t give what he has already given. Even God can´t do what he has already done.
The scripture is very clear that the work of Jesus on the cross and in his risen life is a completed work; a perfect work  that can never be repeated. And you can never ad anything to it.

So we all live in the good of what he has already done and what he´s already given. If you listen to the voice of the Spirit  Jesus says that his ministry in believers is to remind them of all that Jesus has said and done. Jesus doesn't say; the Holy Spirit will tell you what God will do; no, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to remind us of what he has already said and what he has already done.

Read what he says at the last supper.

So if we listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will say exactly what Jesus said on the cross  just before he gave up his spirit: It is done! It is finished! It is completed! It is nothing left for me to do! It is all done!

So weather you realize it or not you are one of the most blessed people on the whole earth.  Because God has blessed you in Christ with all that heaven has to give. And the scripture says:

.... and you also were included in Christ when you heard the Word of Truth; the Gospel of your salvation; having believed you were marked in Him with the seal; the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of the inheritance that is to come ...

The Holy Spirit guarantees that we are able to lay hold of the inheritance that we have in Christ. Hallelujah!

If you read the letter to the Hebrews;the writer is saying we need to enter the rest of fath; resting in faith.  What does that mean? It means you do nothing except believe. The rest of faith.

Then the scripture explains that just as Jesus now rests from his labors so we stop trying to please God by what we do and we trust in what he has done; so that he can work in us and he can work through us, because we believe and we´re enjoying the rest of faith.

.... Thank God that now I can live in your completed work!

... Say every day: Thank you Lord Jesus that you have loved me and nothing can ever separate  me from that love. Because it is the eternal love and it doesn't depend on what I do. It depends on what you have done. "
